COVID 19 Information The Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA) Student Code of Conduct COVID 19 Policy requires students who have been exposed to COVID 19 or diagnosed with COVID 19 to report their condition on the COVID 19 Notification Form (available via a link on the Student Code of Conduct COVID19 webpage). Course Information
Description Procedures necessary for salon development. Topics include professional ethics and goal setting, salon operation, and record keeping.
Prerequisites None
Learning Outcomes (PSLO #1) Models professional and ethical behavior.
CSLO- Describe the appropriate attire for a job interview that is measured by Unit Exam
CSLO- Indicate the different tasks/positions in a salon measured by Unit Exam

(PSLO #3) Demonstrates proficiency in all cosmetology skills.
CSLO- Display managerial skills measured by rubric.

(PSLO #4) Prepares to pass the state board requirements.
CSLO- Design a resume measured by special assignment
CSLO- Design a business card measured by special assignment
CSLO- Discuss the importance of keeping accurate business records. measured by unit exam

Attendance Policy ATTENDANCE POLICY

Regular class attendance is important to the attainment of the educational objectives of the
college. The cosmetology program has formulated an attendance policy that is consistent with
the objectives of the program and the needs of the student to fulfill all necessary requirements
needed.
Poor attendance is a leading reason for termination from a job in all areas of employment.
With this factor in mind, the instructor monitors student course activity daily.
Attendance is 10% of your overall grade, and will be monitored daily. (Online & Face to
